Hi Louise,
The issue with the swig_import_helper() module was due to environment variables. Some paths weren't defined in those variables and several files couldn't therefore be found.
Now is everything working fine.
Best regards,
Mathieu

Re: Export module
I compiled the version 6.5.2 of OpenCascade on Windows (32 bit version). If I'm right, I didn't need to build any 3rd party software for that. But maybe I should have in order to make everything works correctly.

Re: Export module
Hi Louise, I recompiled everything without errors, the export module seems to be correctly compiled too. I googled "swig_import_helper()" and some people are getting issues with this commando as well, I'll try to see if it can be the reason of my problem. Thanks for your help. Regards, Mat...

Export module
Hi Louise, Yesterday, I tried to use the CExporter() class of TexGen with a Python script, but each time I get a message related to swig_import_helper(). After a quick search on this forum, I found an older post from someone who had the same issue: http://texgen.sourceforge.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, After building the texgen software, I tried to modify the mesh parameters in order to increase the mesh quality. Due to the algorithm used for the mesh creation, it seems complicated to really improve this quality. As a solution, I'm now trying to export my representative volume and mesh ...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise,
Now everything works fine. I just didn't compile the TexGenGUI project, which is still causing problems, apart from that I can perform python scripts without the TexGen GUI.
Thank you again for your great help!
Best regards,
Mathieu

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, The end of the compilation is getting closer now! All former errors has been resolved, but the "cmd.exe" error is still here when compiling the TexGenGUI Project. As explained on the TexGen Compilation webpage, I performed the follwing step before compiling: "Select Configu...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, I got rid of severale error with a re-installation of vtk. Now I've one x86-x64 bit conflict error with a TKIGES.lib file, which is in the Opencascade folder (project _Export in VS2010). In CMake, the variable OPENCASCADE_LIBRARY_DIR is set as "C:/.../ros/win32/vc8/lib". I guess...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi again, Indeed, I didn't remark that these paths were wrong! The second error has been solved, still remain the two others. I'm trying to google it and find a solution for them. Translations would be: error MSB6006: "cmd.exe" exited with code 1 error LMK1181: input file "C:\Programm...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, I installed visual studio and things are working better now. I finished the configuration with CMake, without becoming any errors. When compiling the TexGen.sln file with Visual Studio, I still get three errors, which I can't get rid of. Maybe you know how I can solve the problem. I join ...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise,
Thank you for the information. When I build wxWidgets with gcc, there's some errors. I'll try to install Visual Studio and build wxWidgets with it, it'll maybe be better then.
I'll keep you informed of my progress.
Best regards,
Mathieu

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi, Yes I downloaded the source code, if I correctly understood what you wrote in your last post, I need to build a version of TexGen with the source code to be able to change the "BasicVolumes.cpp" file, is that right? I already built wxWidgets and all other programs and libraries, and ma...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, I am currently trying to install the non-bundled version of TexGen. When configuring the GUI module, I get an error (see the screenshot), which I didn't manage to solve until now. Do you have a clue, what the problem can be? Is the line "wxWidgets_CONFIG_EXECUTABLE" correct? Tha...

Re: Automatic interference treatment
Hi Louise, In order to increase the overall fiber volume content and close the vertical gaps between the yarns, I am performing a compaction simulation of the RVE. During the simulation, there is some instabilities due to the mesh quality (negative volume in some elements). Joint to this message are...

Hi Louise,
Thank you very much for your help. I followed your instructions and it seems that my RVE is now perfectly periodic!
Best regards,
Mathieu
