Hi,
I'm new to the Forum and I have just started working with TexGen. I've exported a mesh to ABAQUS and I've seen some
interpenetration beween yarns. I think it's not good for simulation so I would like to know how I can solve this problem.
Thanks

More information on your specific model would be helpful.
Do these interpenetrations exist in TexGen? You can check by using the python command Textile.DetectInterference() and this will yield the number of nodes that exist in the volume of another yarn. Alternatively, you can click Rendering->Render Textile Interference to on in TexGen, and then the interpenetrating nodes will show up as white dots in TexGen.
If your interpenetrations exist in TexGen, try changing your model parameters to avoid them.
Another cause of your interpenetrations could have to do with the exporting the volume mesh (if that is what you are doing). If your merge tolerance is too big, it can merge nodes in strange ways and cause the yarns to have very odd shapes.
