Importing the IGES file in Abaqus

Dear Martin,

You said you managed to import the geomerty generated by texgen into Abaqus cae via an iges file. Could you explain to me how you proceeded?
After saving the iges file i tried twice to import it through the abaqus cae graphical interface.

First time:
I tried file->import->sketch , the following error message appears: "The file cannot be read. It may be corrupt or not a valid IGES file"
I then tried file->import->part and the error message was:"the part contains invalid geometry. No geometry or mesh orperations can be performed on it until the invalid geometry is repaired or the invalidity is ignored"


Second time:
I tried file->import->part and the geometry was exported. However all yarns were duplicated.

Could you help me pleae?
