I have a question about the material properties. I have read most of your work and understood the constituent matrix you developed for textile materials. I have one question, though, about the UMAT routine and the file that is exported with TexGen (.eld and .ori). If i put the yarn properties in TexGen directly will that be enough for the Abaqus material definition? Or do I still need to write a UMAT routine

Apologies for the delay in replying - I have been on holiday.
The files output by TexGen will run but, if you want to make use of the volume fraction information output in the .eld file, then you will need to write a UMAT routine to give you this information.
