Grid file export
I have downloaded Texgen 3.3.2, and when I try to export as a grid file it can't find the GridFile module. This is the case whether I install Python then just Texgen, or the Texgen bundle (having uninstalled both first). I have found I can get round this by running the "from Texgen.Gridfile import *" command, which is the one that fails, as soon as Texgen starts up before I have opened any tg3 file... if I remember. Does anyone know of a permanent fix (without compiling from source!) or is it something to live with? I was running v3.3.0 before without this problem. Thanks for any tips.
Hi,
I'm afraid that I'm not sure why this is happening. The GridFile.py is obviously included in the installation otherwise you wouldn't be able to do the import when you initially run up TexGen. I've also checked the voxel export and this has a similar problem importing the FlowTex.py.
I'll have to look into why this is the case but, in the meantime, hopefully you can live with running the import command at the start.
Best regards,
Louise
