Hello!
I just have few questions regarding the TexGen version for linux...
I followed the instructions given in: http://texgen.sourceforge.net/index.php ... rom_Source
and at the end, the check in python:
>>>CTexGen.GetInstance().GetVersion()
>>> '3.8.2'
what obviously indicates that was succesfully installed...
I tried to compile with ccmake ../ and cofiguring for the option GUI..., but it returns:
CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are
set to NOTFOUND.
Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake
files:
OPENCASCADE_INCLUDE_DIR
But open cascade is actually installed....
However I have some questions...
- To see a "graphic version" just as in windows, where can I see the instructions to do it???
- Is it possible to some how add TexGen to the .bashrc to launch it from the terminal?
- Where such graphical version should be installed?.
- Is there any "manual" to use TexGen together with Linux?
Thank you!.

Re: Linux Texgen Questions
Hi,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I've been on holiday and then away at conferences.
The instructions for building with Linux are the same as those for Unix and are here: http://texgen.sourceforge.net/index.php ... ource#Unix
For the OpenCASCADE error you will need to fill in the path for its /inc directory in the appropriate field in CMake.
In order to build the GUI version you need to have selected the BUILD_GUI and BUILD_RENDERER options in CMake. When you have built the code you should have an executable TexGenGUI.exe file which should give you the user interface.
I hope that helps,
Louise
