Hi Everyone,
I generated a textile model using TexGen which I then exported to ABAQUS as an .inp file to perform compaction simulation there. Following this simulation, I would like to convert the compacted textile model into voxel mesh which I can then export to Hypermesh. Could somebody please give me a suggestion for this?

Hi,
This is not my area of expertise but my understanding is that you should be able to get the deformed nodal positions from the Abaqus .odb file. If you started with a voxel mesh export from TexGen then, presumably, after your compaction simulation you will have deformed Hex elements which you could then, using the deformations, write to a file which could be read by Hypermesh. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you meant?
Best regards,
Louise
