Im trying to do FEA in ANSYS but Im having difficulties in exporting the file from TexGen to import it in ANSYS. if anyone has any suggestion on how to do that or example to show please help.

Hi Matt,
I'm afraid that I don't have access to ANSYS so haven't used it myself. If you look at the start of the tutorial here: http://texgen.sourceforge.net/index.php ... CFX_Export it looks as though you can import an Abaqus .inp file into ANSYS (I don't know whether this would also input the orientation data etc).
Failing that you could maybe try comparing the keywords in ANSYS and Abaqus and see if you can convert from one to the other (either manually or by writing a script to do the conversion).
