Problems on Installation and GUI Runing

I have two problems:
1) first I installed ABAQUS 6.14, then when I set 'C:\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.14-1\tools\SMApy\python2.7' as the python direction when I installed texgen-py27. It seems that the installation did non succeed. Then I copy 'TexGen/libxtra/Texgen' to 'C:\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.14-1\tools\SMApy\python2.7\Lib\site-packages' and write TexGen.pth, it works in ABAQUS cmd and pde environment without Texgen GUI. However, the GUI can not be opened. And I tried 2.7bundle, it could be installed, but the GUI still could not be opened. finally I installed 2.6bundle version, the GUI works. I want to know how to install 2.7 nobundle version correctly. Is it neseccery to recompile the install code using Cmake or other software?

2) second problem is when the model is big, (with many yarns or several layers, or exporting large amouth of mesh), the GUI will always corrupt. What is the problem and how to avoid it?

Hi,
I'm afraid that there is an issue with the Python 27 bundled version which I am having problems tracking down. If you haven't already done so you could try installing Python27 on your computer. I know that this somewhat defeats the object of having a bundled version but for most people this seems to solve the problem of the TexGen Python 27 version not working properly. There is clearly something missing in the installation which is there when Python is installed but I haven't managed to find out what yet!

On the second problem I would need to see that file that you're trying to load in order to work out what the issue is.
