I'm really interested in using TexGen but im having some issues with installation. I'm not at all familiar with Python so I opted for the bundled installation. The files seem to install on my computer (windows 10) but when I try and open the Tex Gen program nothing happens. When I look in the program list, it is there but it doesn't read how large the program is. There are files in the C:\Program Files\TexGen folder so I cant work out what the problem is. I have tried different versions of TexGen and all have yielded the same problem.
Any advice would be helpful.

There seems to be a problem with the recentbundles versions using Python 27 on some machines. I think that there is a Python file missing but unfortunately I've been unable as yet to identify what the problem is. You could try installing Python 27 on your computer from www.python.org. In most cases this seem to solve the problem (which somewhat defeats the object of having a bundled version!). Hopefully this will work for you. If not, the Python26 version here https://sourceforge.net/projects/texgen ... en/3.10.0/ seems to install successfully on most machines.
