Hi Louise,
Thanks! I received it. I am doing a thermal expansion and compaction on the dry fibers to generate a larger fiber volume fraction for a triaxial braid. I am trying to add in the matrix after those geometry manipulations which is why I'm using the dry fiber export!

Re: exporting to Abaqus
Hi Louise,
May I ask you to share a copy of the orientation script? I am trying to do a forming analysis of the composite through a CAD generated model. I tried working with the texgen dry fiber export but have run into errors which I cannot solve for now.
Sincerely,
Skr

Hi Skr,
You can find the orientations script, Define_orientation.py, on GitHub https://github.com/louisepb/TexGenScripts
Were the dry fibre export errors caused by TexGen or problems with your model. If you've found TexGen bugs please could you log an issue on GitHub here https://github.com/louisepb/TexGen
Thanks,
Louise
