When I need the fibers on both sides to be cut out, he will report this error, like"Unable to generate node sets
".Importing abaqus using PBC will not recognize surrounding nodes. That's exactly what my picture shows.

Re: An error occurred while exporting Texgen2DWeave
Hello,
It is difficult to say what the problem is without more information. Which type of export are you using?
Is your model definitely periodic? Does the repeat size exactly match the size of your domain so that the points on the two surfaces correspond?
Is there a reason why you have selected the domain so that it cuts the yarns. It is easier to generate the PBCs if the domain cuts the spaces between the yarns. This should give exactly the same results if the PBCs are set up correctly.
Best wishes,
Louise

Re: An error occurred while exporting Texgen2DWeave
hi louisepb,
Thank you very much for replying to me so quickly.I attached the steps for creating 2DWEAVE.And The final attachment is that I imported the mesh into ABAQUS using the EASYPBC plugin (which automatically generates periodic boundary conditions) and it shows an error that echoes the error in TEXGEN, that is, some point sets cannot be generated. The red nodes in Attachment 2 are the unrecognized nodes.
In addition, I would like to ask how can I create a 2DWEAVE script in TEXGEN so that the yarn direction is in the direction I give it.
Thank you very much.

Re: An error occurred while exporting Texgen2DWeave
Hi,
I'm afraid that I don't know anything about the EASYPBC plugin so can't comment on that.
For generating the TexGen model I don't really understand why you are using the method shown. You have created a 3x3 weave but then created a domain for what is, essentially, a plain weave but isn't the same as the textile that you have created. Is your textile the 3x3 weave (in which case you need to export the whole model) or a plain weave? If it's a plain weave then use the wizard to create a 2x2 plain weave with your dimensions and then use the volume mesh export. The export works fine for this and exports all of your PBCs and material orientations etc. You can then run the simulation from the command line to generate material properties as described here: https://texgen.sourceforge.net/index.ph ... and_Abaqus
The problem with the domain that you have selected is that, while the meshing algorithm tries to create matching node sets on opposite ends of the domain, it is less likely to be successful when the yarn has been cut through lengthways.
I hope that all makes sense.
Best wishes,
Louise
