Hello, I'm new to the forum - I'm working on modeling forming fabrics out of uOttawa. I'm just getting into this but I suspect TexGen will be very useful so many thanks in advance.
Question - my python console & output log windows won't re open (after I accidentally closed them) when I re-select the 'Logs' check box on the 'Windows' menu. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no luck and also tried uninstalling all python versions and just using the TexGen bundled ver. Do you know how I can get the Log Windows to reappear?
Regards,
Matt

Re: Python Console / Output Tab Windows Gone
Hi Matt,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you actually closed the windows or just moved them off the screen? I was experimenting to see if I could duplicate your problem and what I managed to do was undock the window and then move it so it went (apparently) off the bottom of the screen. I'm running Windows 7 and noticed that when the window was turned on I could see a 'shadow' at the bottom of the screen which disappeared when the window was turned off. It was obviously there but I couldn't get at it. My solution in the end (which it took me a while to think of!) was to move the task bar to the side which revealed just the top of the undocked window which I could then pick up and move back into the TexGen window.
I hope that's what you've done. If not let me know and I'll see if I can think of something else.
Louise

Re: Python Console / Output Tab Windows Gone
Hi Louise, the log window was indeed very hidden at the bottom of the screen, only revealed by moving the windows taskbar to the side as you suggested.
Thanks for your quick reply!
