Hello!
I'm wondering if is possible to define some regions with more "points", around a yarn for example, in order to produce a finer mesh (voxel and conformal tetrahedral) in a certain region of the model... This becomes important (and sometimes necessary) when analysing stress singularities.
Thank you very much!

Hi Uomo,
There is no facility within TexGen for localised mesh refinement. It is possible to interrogate the model to give you a finer set of points around a cross-section which you can then use in a meshing algorithm, but I'm not sure that's exactly what you're after?
Best regards,
Louise

Well, let's say that I want to create some points in such a way that some elements would be created around to use such points as nodes. I think this might not be a problem with the triangulation... But would like to do it with voxel meshing approach.
Thank you!!

Dear Louise, when you say interrogate the model to give points in a region... how this can be done through TexGen ?
