Hello,
I recently encountered a problem, please forgive me for my shallow knowledge. Can TEXGEN achieve 3D multi-way braiding (3D four-directional braid)? During operation, it was found that the model did not have warp and weft lines in a strict sense (the fibers did not have a vertical relationship), but the fibers were woven along a certain direction and weaving Angle. I would appreciate your help in solving this problem

Re: 3D four-directional braid
Hello,
An image of the type of braid that you are trying to model would be useful. There is a script for a triaxial braid here: https://github.com/louisepb/TexGenScripts
I think that you will probably need to write a script to model this - there is not currently a wizard to automatically generate braided textiles. There is a scripting guide here: https://github.com/louisepb/TexGenScriptingGuide
Best wishes,
Louise
