Hi Louise,
I have a part where containing a fibre pattern. My intention now is to change the fibre pattern in the part (matrix) without changing the size of the matrix. I've tried using the domain by setting the size of the domain but the generation is not fully containing my fibre pattern that I've created. The output is like the cutting of my geometry at certain length. Do TexGen able to fit the pattern at any matrix size?

Hi Yanie,
You need to use the Domain->Edit Domain option. This allows you to position the domain wherever you want to. It's covered in the User Guide on the TexGen web page.

Hi Louise,
I did used Edit domain for modification but as I mentioned before, the output is like cutting the matrix at certain length. The whole pattern is not properly generated in the new size of matrix.

Hi Yanie,
You will have created a textile with given repeats and specific positions for your yarns. If you want the domain to cover a specific part of the pattern then you need to specify the domain planes so that they are in the correct positions to fit the part of the yarn you want to be included.
